UNC Health Blue Ridge Named Clinical Affiliate of the Year

The 2025 Catawba Valley Community College’s Respiratory Therapy Graduating Class has named UNC Health Blue Ridge as CVCC's Clinical Affiliate of the Year for 2024-2025. This recognition is a testament to the incredible dedication and hard work of the Blue Ridge staff in providing outstanding clinical experiences for CVCC students. The students travel to 15 different clinical sites. The pinning ceremony took place on Friday, May 9.

In addition, Blue Ridge Respiratory Therapist Jason Sadowski, RRT, tied for Preceptor of the Year, and the seniors requested Blue Ridge Respiratory Therapist Heidi Reed, RRT, as their graduation speaker. Other Blue Ridge Respiratory Therapists nominated for Preceptor of the Year were Amanda Orr, RRT, and Mauricio Rebellon-Teran, RRT.
