Limited Hospital Access Points
To help keep our patients, visitors, and staff safe, UNC Health Blue Ridge will be reducing the number of entrances to the hospital beginning Monday, September 29.
This change, based on feedback from our recent listening tours, reflects our commitment to creating a secure environment for both patients and teammates. By limiting the number of ways people can enter the hospital, we can better protect everyone inside, make it easier for people to find their way, and improve how we manage safety and security.
This is just the first step in a larger plan to make our hospital even safer. More improvements are coming, but starting with fewer, clearly marked entrances will help us reduce risks and create a more secure environment for everyone.
