Blue Ridge Pain Specialist has joined UNC Health Blue Ridge to help you deal with chronic pain or any new pain you may be experiencing.

We focus on interventional pain procedures and supporting medications to control and relieve your pain. Many conditions are easily treated at the pain management clinic with conservative therapies, such as medication and nerve blocks. • Botox therapy – Relieves chronic migraines (headaches that happen 15 or more days a month)
• Joint injections (steroids and viscosupplementation)– reduce inflammation and can improve range of motion.
• Medication – Prescriptions for medicine to help ease pain in conjunction with other treatment modalities
• Nerve blocks, including epidurals – Injects anesthetic into a nerve or group of nerves to block pain signals
• Radiofrequency ablation for knee, hip, sacroiliac, or facet joints – Uses a mild electrical current to eliminate the nerves that send pain signals to the brain
• Peripheral nerve Stimulation & Spinal cord stimulation – uses electrical energy to block pain signals to the brain
