Former Panther Chris Draft honors lung cancer survivors

Former NFL linebacker for the Carolina Panthers Chris Draft made a trip to UNC Health Blue Ridge’s Cancer Center in Valdese Friday, Oct. 3, to present and honor lung cancer survivors with a White Ribbon Ceremony.
The ceremony, which was created to honor North Carolina’s very own Tylee Craft, who was a wide receiver for UNC Chapel Hill’s football team. In 2022, Craft was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer. He died on Oct. 12, 2024, but left a lasting legacy through not just his time on the field, but his dedication to his team and community,
