“I am basically an electrician for the heart,” said Dr. Mehta. “I care for patients with heart rhythm conditions, including atrial fibrillation. I use tools such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and ablation procedures to support each patient’s goals. I believe in helping patients understand their condition and take an active role in their care.”
Outside of work, Dr. Mehta enjoys teaching CPR and helping make communities safer. He also enjoys tennis and basketball and is a fan of Duke and Ohio State. He now proudly calls North Carolina home.
