"I chose medicine because it combines science, problem-solving, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients. Cardiology particularly appealed to me because of the ability to make a significant difference in both the quality and longevity of a patient's life through prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease."
