Dr. Bujold Joins Blue Ridge Medical Group

Edward J. Bujold, MD, FAAFP, of Granite Falls Family Medical Care Center, has joined the Blue Ridge Medical Group, effective April 1, 2025, after more than 40 years as an independent solo practice.
“We welcome Dr. Bujold’s extensive knowledge and experience he brings to the medical group,” said Drew Thomas, vice president of the Blue Ridge Medical Group and Chief Ambulatory Officer. “He also has an impressive background in primary care research that we look forward to hearing more about and participating with him in his studies.”
Dr. Bujold is a graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit, in family medicine. He completed his family practice residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Hospital, and Bethesda Naval Hospital.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and chief physician strategist with the North American Primary Care Research Group. He serves as a senior advisor for KPN Health Advisors, Dallas.
When not working, Dr. Bujold enjoys golf, skiing, bike riding, and reading. He and his wife, Claudia, have two girls.
