Our Quality Commitment
Improving Our Quality Care Every Day
At UNC Health Blue Ridge, we are proud of our commitment to quality. We strive to meet or exceed the national hospital quality measures.
A lot of quality data can be found on the internet, but the numbers may be confusing or misleading. We encourage you to view quality data on many different websites, and keep in mind that each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
We welcome your questions, concerns and comments as we take steps toward making UNC Blue Ridge a great place to receive care, a great place for physicians to practice medicine and a great place to work. We have provided links to display the national quality measures in a simple, easy to view format. These show a specific set of measures of patient care nationally approved by Medicare and The Joint Commission, which is an organization that certifies a healthcare facility’s quality and patient safety programs. These measures have been proven to positively improve outcomes for patients who receive them.
